Sonic AI × JetUP × TAG Markets
Sonic AI Trading
A simple guide for potential investors — how it works, what it costs, and the risks involved, before you open an account.
Get StartedDespite its name, Sonic AI is not currently described as a fully autonomous artificial-intelligence trading robot. According to its own website, trading decisions are made by a team of professional traders; technology is then used to copy those trades automatically into participating customers’ accounts.
Sonic AI is an automated copy-trading strategy available through the JetUP ecosystem. It is connected to TAG Markets through its CopyX copy-trading platform — once your account is connected, trades opened and closed by the Sonic team are copied automatically into your own TAG Markets account. You don’t have to study charts or place trades yourself, but automated copy trading does not remove the financial risk: the trades happen in your account, so profits and losses are yours.
Deposit & amplification calculator
Illustrative only, using the figures currently published by Sonic AI / TAG Markets. Not a projection or promise of future performance.
Default (1.14%) matches Sonic AI’s published average monthly account-level result. Drag to stress-test other scenarios — including negative months.
Amplification increases both the projected profit and the potential loss, measured against your original deposit — not just the trading exposure.
Profit-split visualiser
Sonic AI currently describes a 70/30 arrangement: you keep 70% of trading profit, 30% is allocated as a performance fee. This example ignores spreads, commissions, currency conversion and withdrawal fees.
Who’s involved: Sonic AI, JetUP, TAG Markets & CopyX
Sonic AI is the trading strategy being followed. A team of three traders decides when to enter a trade, how large the position should be, and when to close it.
JetUP is the wider digital ecosystem through which customers learn about Sonic AI, access onboarding information, and find the tools needed to get started. JetUP also promotes CopyX, Amplify and a partner programme.
TAG Markets is the broker through which your trading account is opened and funded. CopyX is TAG Markets’ copy-trading technology, which connects your account to Sonic AI and mirrors its trades automatically.
In short: Sonic provides the trading decisions, CopyX copies the trades, TAG Markets provides the trading account, and JetUP brings it all together.
What does Sonic AI trade?
Sonic AI primarily trades gold against the US dollar (XAU/USD) using contracts for difference (CFDs). You never own physical gold — you speculate on whether its price will rise or fall.
CFDs are leveraged: a relatively small deposit can control a much larger position. Leverage can increase potential profits, but it magnifies losses just as much.
How do you get started?
- Register through the JetUP ecosystem and follow the onboarding instructions.
- Open a trading account with TAG Markets, including identity and address (KYC) verification.
- Once approved, deposit funds and connect your account to Sonic AI through CopyX.
- Eligible Sonic trades are then copied automatically into your account.
Before depositing, read the latest account agreement, CopyX terms, fee information and withdrawal conditions — promotional material may not reflect the terms on your individual account.
Can you withdraw your money?
Profits can currently be withdrawn from the first day. Original capital in an amplified account is locked in for 30 days; standard (non-amplified) Amplify capital can also be withdrawn after 30 days.
Different conditions may apply to promotional allocations, bonuses and independently connected funds. Disconnecting from Sonic, or withdrawing capital, may require notice depending on your account.
Always confirm the current lock-in period, notice requirements, withdrawal methods, processing times, fees, and whether open trades must be closed first — in writing, before depositing.
Who regulates the trading account?
TAG Markets states it is the trading name of T.M. Financials Ltd, incorporated in Mauritius, regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius as an Investment Dealer (licence GB21026474).
This is not the same as being authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. The legal protections, complaint procedures and compensation arrangements available may differ from a UK-regulated firm. UK residents should establish whether the service can lawfully be offered to them, and what protections apply, before opening an account.
What are the main risks?
- Leveraged CFD trading is high-risk — TAG Markets states 85% of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs with this provider.
- Automation does not prevent losses: sudden gold-price movements, economic announcements, low liquidity, slippage and technical problems can all affect results.
- Amplification increases risk relative to your actual deposit. Even with a predefined liquidation threshold, reaching it can mean losing your entire deposited capital.
- A high published win rate does not tell the whole story — the size of wins vs. losses matters just as much as how often trades win. One large loss can cancel out several smaller wins.
Questions to ask before you deposit
- Is the performance fee, amplification rate and drawdown limit confirmed in writing for my specific account?
- Is the headline performance figure shown gross or net of the 30% fee?
- Is the linked Myfxbook record a live, verified account?
- What are the exact lock-in period, notice requirements and withdrawal fees?
- What happens to my account if Sonic, CopyX or TAG Markets has a technical problem?
- Am I only using money I can afford to lose?
If you’re unsure whether leveraged CFD trading is suitable for your circumstances, consider independent financial, legal and tax advice.
